Wind, brass and percussion majors, who are enrolled in 60 minute lessons, must enroll in both orchestra and wind ensemble. Other ensembles, including chamber music and vocal ensembles, will no longer satisfy the requirement. This is outlined in the bulletin: “Ensemble enrollments must be approved by the faculty advisor in order for them to satisfy the requirement.” As always, all string majors must enroll in orchestra. String players enrolled in 60 minute lessons may satisfy the remaining ensemble requirement by enrolling in chamber music or wind ensemble.
